The Greater Cleveland Chapter of the National Congress of Black Women unveils a new portrait of Congressman Louis Stokes and Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones by artist Khaz Ra’el. The portrait will be on permanent display at Cleveland Public Library and will grace a future special edition library card. Keynote speaker Lori Stokes, daughter of Louis Stokes, discusses her father’s autobiography, The Gentleman from Ohio, and will host a book signing after her presentation. Books will be available for sale at the program. This event is free and open to the public.
