Homebound Services
Residents of the city of Cleveland who are unable to visit the library due to age or disability (short-term or long-term) can have library materials delivered to their home by UPS through Cleveland Public Library’s Homebound Services.
Words on Wheels
Exciting news! Words on Wheels is a new service provides Library patrons with a safer option to obtain library materials during the pandemic. Simply contact Main Library or a Branch and request an item be mailed to you.
Ohio Library for the Blind and Print Disabled
In partnership with the State Library of Ohio Talking Book Program, OLBPD serves as the Regional Library for the National Library Service (NLS) for the Blind and Print Disabled of the Library of Congress, and administers a free library program of braille and audio materials circulated to eligible borrowers in the State of Ohio by postage-free mail.
Mobile Hotspot Checkout
Thanks to a grant provided by The Cleveland Foundation, Cleveland residents will now be able to borrow the internet just like a book. Mobile hotspots provide 24/7 access to the internet with unlimited data on a fast, secure network.
Interlibrary Loan
Using Interlibrary Loan, patrons can borrow books, microfilm and order photocopies of journal articles that are not available through our subscription databases or our regional CLEVNET library system.
