Esports at CPL features gaming, workshops, live-streaming, the chance to use great new gear, networking with other gamers, all for free

There’s something for everyone at Cleveland Public Library’s gaming events. The Library’s gaming events will now be held monthly and will alternate between casual gaming events and esports tournaments. These options allow patrons to experience the best of both worlds while ensuring that competitions and leisurely, social gaming have their own dedicated spaces.

Casual & Variety Gaming

Our Casual & Variety gaming events help gamers build connections with one another. These events emphasize friendly play and a social environment. Casual & Variety gaming dates in 2019 include:

  • November 30 – Season Finale combined event!

eSports@CPL Tournaments

Esports tournaments are all about exciting competition and building a community, whether you participate or spectate. Tournaments feature staple competitive games like NBA 2K, The King of Fighters, Mario Kart Deluxe, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Join the Cleveland Public Library community and register for tournaments on Challonge.com. Tournament dates in 2019 include:

  • October 26
  • November 30 – Season Finale combined event!
