Educators

It doesn’t matter whether you’re teaching in the classroom or at home, Cleveland Public Library has resources to help educators develop lesson plans to help students learn.

Educational Resources

Prepare your child for a life-long love of literacy and learning. Cleveland Public Library offers a variety of resources and services to help your child’s curiosity grow.

YRead? Book Set

YRead? Book Sets provide multiple copies of quality titles for use by educators in the classroom or community group leaders. The titles selected are for Kindergarten through High School students. Educators are encouraged to read the requested title to determine content and reading level appropriateness for their classroom.

Educator Library Cards

Teachers from public and private, parochial, and charter schools as well as licensed child care centers can apply for an annual Cleveland Public Library Educator Card. Complete an Educator Card application form and bring it, along with identification, to any Cleveland Public Library location.
