Blocked Status
As a CPL card holder, your borrowing status may be blocked for one of the following reasons:
- You have 10 or more items overdue on your account
- You have more than 50 items checked out on your account
- You have $25.00 or more in fines
- Your card has expired
Library cards, like drivers licenses, expire after a two year period. You can renew your library card by visiting any branch of the Cleveland Public Library and presenting the proper form of identification. *This information is extracted from the Library’s Circulation Policy.
