Johnson’s bestselling memoir, All Boys Aren’t Blue, recounts their experiences growing up as a queer Black man in America. The book has been hailed as a landmark text that sheds light on the struggles of marginalized groups.

Known for frank and honest discussions on topics often considered taboo, Johnson will engage Clevelanders in a conversation about banned books, a contentious topic that continues to divide communities across America. The author’s insights are sure to provoke thought and reflection.
