Saluting the Dreamers
In an effort to recognize people who have made a difference in the local community, Cleveland Public Library partnered with Fifth Third Bank to host the first in what is expected to be an annual Saluting the Dreamers tribute in September. The first recipient of the Saluting the Dreamers award was Margaret Wong, who has been a lifelong patron of Cleveland Public Library and has successfully built her own law firm. Margaret W. Wong & Associates Co., LPA, specializes in immigration and nationality law. Wong is co-chair of the Immigration Committee for the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and chairs the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's Immigration Law Section. She has also been recognized for her philanthropic achievements with the Margaret Ireland Award from the Cleveland Women's City Club and the Creative Philanthropy Award from the Women's Community Foundation.
