Celebrating the Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards

Edith Anisfield Wolf, upon her death in 1963, left her books to Cleveland Public Library and her funds to the Cleveland Foundation for a community service award, aid for the needy and a book prize. Cleveland Public Library has always been a major supporter of the Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards, which, in 2010, celebrated its 75th anniversary. To mark the milestone anniversary, the Library invited Walter Mosley, the 1998 Anisfield-Wolf award winner for Always Outnumbered, Always Outgunned.
