FRANCES SCOTT, LIFELONG LIBRARY PATRON

Cleveland Public Library has a long, rich history of offering a wide array of programs and events designed to encourage and celebrate literacy and general education.

In an effort to upgrade the content of the programs offered, a new dedicated programming department was created in early 2010. In the past, responsibility for the many educational programs offered by the Library fell on multiple departments. With a more focused and organized effort behind them, many of the 2010 programs and events garnered record attendance and superior ratings from those in attendance.
