Notes: Mrs. Flora Patterson. Mrs. Flora Patterson, who had lived in Cleveland for more than 40 years, died Saturday in Madrid, Spain, while on a European tour. She was the widow of Chester B. Patterson, the city's commissioner of purchases when Harold H. Burton was mayor. Mrs. Patterson was 66. A native of Columbus, she came to Cleveland with her husband in 1909. An enthusiastic golfer, she was a member of Canterbury Golf Club. Mrs. Patterson had spent recent winters in Sarasota and summers at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Everett H. Travis, 2976 Lincoln Blvd., Cleveland Heights. Besides Mrs. Travis, Mrs. Patterson is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. John T. Bricker, Miss Peggy Patterson and Mrs. Henry Chisholm Jr. A sister, Mrs. Harry Willson, also survives. Millard Son & Raper Co., 11203 Fairhill Rd., is in charge of funeral arrangements, not yet completed.
