Notes: A retired Cleveland schoolteacher, returning here after a two-month vacation near Seattle, died of a heart attack in a DC7 air liner high above the Cascade Mountains in Washington State. She was Miss Ruth C. Nelson, 67, who taught a "major work" class at Hazeldell School until her retirement in 1956. Since then she had been a part-time saleswoman for the Halle Bros. Co. Miss Nelson had been visiting a brother, Robert Nelson of Everett, Wash., since the middle of June. He is her only immediate survivor. Her body was being removed yesterday to the Dare funeral home in Elk River. Funeral services will be held there at 2 p.m. Saturday.
