Notes: Mrs. James A. Carmichael, for many years an employe of Ernst & Ernst, accountants, died Saturday in a private hospital in Warren, O. Born here 81 years ago, she was Nellie Hanford, the daughter of James T. and Adell Freer Hanford, an early Cleveland family. Her husband died in 1906. After his death Mrs. Carmichael entered the employ of Ernst & Ernst. She was with that organization as a bookkeeper for nearly a half century before she retired. She moved to Warren four years ago to make her home. She was long a member of the Eastern Star and of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Cleveland Heights, and its women's groups. Surviving Mrs. Carmichael are two nephews, Clare and James Thompson, and two nieces Mrs. Edward S. Everett and Mrs. Dorothy Voit. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow in Lake View Cemetery. The Roberts funeral home. Warren is in charge of arrangements.
