Receive free eclipse glasses

Cleveland is in the path of totality for the upcoming total solar eclipse. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we are working with NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio, to prepare the public to safely view this awe-inspiring event. Eclipse glasses are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Patrons can receive up to five eclipse glasses from their local Cleveland Public Library while supplies last.

NASA is also making glasses available at events leading up to the eclipse and during the Great Lakes Science Center Total Eclipse Fest (April 6 – 8). You can learn about the importance of eye safety when viewing an eclipse and how NASA studies them at go.nasa.gov/Eclipse2024.
