Groundbreaking postponed due to inclement.
Eastman Branch of Cleveland Public Library is getting reimagined.
Starting Monday, December 6, Eastman Branch will be open for walk-up service only. It will temporarily close to the public on Saturday, December 11 at the close of business at 6 p.m.
The closure is part of a 10-year plan to improve the branch experience. Renovation plans include new meeting rooms, a dedicated teen and gaming area, after-hours community room access, a 24-hour vestibule with book lockers, gender-neutral, accessible restrooms, a new bike rack, and improved outdoor seating.
While the Eastman Branch is closed, patrons are encouraged to visit the Rockport Branch or utilize our books by mail service, Words on Wheels.
