Cleveland Public Library will break ground on the Lorain Branch renovation project in the Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood. Library leadership, city and community leaders, and other dignitaries are expected to attend the celebration.
HBM Architects and Interior Designers and Prime AE Group are leading the effort to modernize the historic Carnegie building. Renovation plans include a new community room, a laptop bar, café space, a dedicated teen space, and much more.
While the Lorain Branch is closed for reimagination, patrons are encouraged to visit the Carnegie West Branch or utilize our books by mail service, Words on Wheels.
