History & Architecture
Cleveland Public Library obtained the Villa Angela Academy site in 1991 and renovated the space, which now houses the Memorial-Nottingham Branch and other Cleveland Public Library services. Richard Fleischman Architects were selected to reconfigure this 15,625-square-foot high school building into library facilities.
Memorial-Nottingham Branch is located on Lake Shore Boulevard in the Collinwood neighborhood. The branch’s famous neighbors include the Euclid Beach Park and Wildwood Park.
Special Features
- The greater facility at this location also houses Technical Services, the Ohio Library for the Blind and Print Disabled, and off-site book storage.
- Memorial-Nottingham is one of four Cleveland Public Library branches to offer a book cart sale. The book cart is a permanent fixture that offers books and DVDs for sale at prices set by Friends of the Cleveland Public Library.
