Jefferson Branch is Now Open

Jefferson Branch of the Cleveland Public Library

Cleveland Public Library is pleased to announce that library services at Jefferson Branch will resume when it reopens to the public on Wednesday, August 6, 2018. Jefferson Branch closed for repairs on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, as part of a larger capital improvement project, which will help ensure Cleveland Public Library can best serve community members well into the future.

Completed repairs to Jefferson Branch include:

  • ADA accessibility updates
    • Restrooms
    • Clearer signage
    • Drinking fountain
    • Moveable circulation desk
  • New after-hours book return
  • Window and wall repairs
  • Stair and handrail repairs
  • Roof replacement
  • Waterproofing
  • HVAC updates (ductwork and circulation updates)
