Food for Fines

From April 1- April 30, 2019, the Library will forgive $1.00 in overdue fines for every non-expired, non-perishable food item on the Cleveland Foodbank’s super six list: beef stew, canned soup, canned vegetables, peanut butter, cereal, and tuna fish. The maximum amount of fines forgiven per day during the Food for Fines program is $25.00.

The program only applies to overdue fines. Fees associated with referral to Unique Management, cost of any lost or damaged items or any fees associated with CLEVNET materials are not included in this program. Patrons whose accounts have been referred for materials recovery are not eligible for the Food for Fines program.
