You are cordially invited to come and experience First Folio! The Book That Gave Us Shakespeare. The exhibit will be on display at Cleveland Public Library, Main Building in the Treasure Room on the third floor June 20-July 30, 2016, during regular library hours.
The library welcomes those interested in First Folio! to come and visit this week. We will be honoring all reservations made through our online reservation system.
The library would like to invite those who have been unable to obtain a reservation online to come to the library to see the Shakespeare’s First Folio on a space available basis. Self guided visits will be happening every day on the half hour starting at 10:30 AM and finishing at 5:00 PM from July 25th through July 30th.
As an extra-special treat, throughout the summer, the library has guided tours scheduled every Wednesday evening from 5-6, starting at the entrance of Main Library. Come and have an expert librarian or a professor from a local university guide you through all of the library’s Shakespeare exhibits:
Early bird guided tours to selected library Shakespeare exhibits start on April 27th. The full set of exhibits, with guided tours that will include viewings of the First Folio start on June 20th and will continue through July 30th.
If you want to come with your group on another day, guided group visits to the exhibit can be reserved. If you plan to bring a large group, we can provide additional information to help you prepare and make the most of your time with the First Folio. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for further information about group visits.
After your visit, come grab your Shakespeare swag at gift shop operated by the Friends of Cleveland Public Library. Located on the first floor of the Louis Stokes Wing, the gift shop supports the goals of Cleveland Public Library.
