Civil rights lawyer and radio host Stanley Tolliver, Sr. (1925 – 2011) served as legal counsel for the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and the Congress of Racial Equality. He was also the only African-American attorney involved in the defense of the students charged in the Kent State University anti-Vietnam War protest. Tolliver was interviewed by The HistoryMakers® on June 16, 2005, in Cleveland, Ohio. This collection is comprised of the original video footage of the interview.
