Milton Marvin Toy Papers
The collection consists of the papers of Milton Marvin Toy from 1920-1943. The collection primarily contains correspondence from Milton to his mother Daisy Bell Warner. His correspondence in 1939-1940 was written while he was working Tucson, Arizona. After his induction into the United States Army in 1943, his letters discuss experiences in basic training at Kearns, Utah; the Amy Administration School at Atlanta University; and Kelly Field in San Antonio, Texas. There is no correspondence after 1943 that further documents his military service overseas. Also included are military service records, photographs, certificates, a newspaper clipping, and religious material.
