The collection, mostly drawn from the Cleveland Public Library Archives, documents the history of the Cleveland Public Library at its branches and main library locations. Some highlights include annual reports, images from current and early branches, images of Main Library, bookplates, library cards, summer reading club buttons, book marks, and scrapbooks. There are also photographs of Cleveland Public Library directors, trustees & staff, and more. The collection includes views of the twenty-seven Cleveland Public Library neighborhood branches and the bookmobiles. There are also current and historic photos with previous locations and architectural information. Carnegie West, Brooklyn, Jefferson, Lorain, South and Sterling branches were built with funding from Andrew Carnegie. The former Hough and Woodland Carnegie buildings are also shown: Hough Branch
