Francis Anderson Gregory, Class of 1928. Mr.. Gregory entered Case Institute of Technology at the age of 16 in 1924. He graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. While at Case, he lettered in cross-country track and was a member of AIEE (American Institute of Electrical Engineers), the YMCA, and the Debating Club. In 1964, he was one of four Case Alumni honored at the 79th Annual Reunion Banquet with Awards for Meritorious Service. Mr.. Gregory’s son Fredrick graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy and served as an astronaut with NASA, piloting the space shuttle Challenger in Spring 1985 mission. Francis Gregory, a native of Washington, D.C. passed away in that city on February 27, 1977.
