Flora Johnson Papers

Flora Johnson (b. 1906) was active in the African-American community in Cleveland, Ohio, including the following organizations: Cleveland Chapter of the National Council of Negro Women, Glenville Garden Club, Forest City Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, Antioch Baptist Church, Eliza Bryant Home for the Aged, Four-O’clock Garden Club, League of Women Voters, the 25th Ward Republican Club, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the National Alliance of Postal Employees. The collection consists of programs, annual reports, membership information, correspondence, and historical and biographical information relating to the organizations in which Flora Johnson was actively involved. This collection also contains a small file containing material reflecting the involvement of the donor, Loraine Huston, in the Ladies Auxiliary of the National Alliance of Postal Employees.
