Conella Coutler Brown Papers 

Conella Coulter Brown (1925-2022), was an educator and the first African-American woman to take on the role of assistant superintendent in an Ohio School District, making her the highest ranking African-American woman in public education at the time. This collection consists of articles, awards, a biographical sketch, bulletins, certificates, correspondences, flyers, invitations, membership materials, newsletters, newspaper clippings, photographs, proclamations and resolutions, and program booklets.
