Bobby Smith Basketball Card

This Bobby Smith Basketball card is number 49 in a series of 264 manufactured by the Topps Company Inc. for the 1973-1974 NBA season. The front of the card features a posed picture of the Cleveland Cavaliers forward. The card’s reverse features a small cartoon image illustrating the factoid that “Bobby’s nickname is ‘BINGO'” as well as short biographical sketch and career statistics. Smith played in the NBA for 11 seasons from 1969-1980. After his rookie year with the San Diego Rockets, Smith was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers in their 1970 expansion draft. Smith would go on to play the next nine years (1970-1979) with Cleveland averaging 13 points per game. His final season was spent playing for the San Diego Clippers.
