Cleveland Public Library Reopens Its Gift Shop, Eases Restrictions for Visitors

As more people receive the COVID-19 vaccination, Cleveland Public Library is easing restrictions to enhance the visitor experience.

The following changes are a step toward fully reopening to the public:

  • Building capacity levels will increase from 15% to 30%.
  • More seating areas and more time to browse or use the computer. Visitors can spend up to 2-hours at neighborhood branches. Main Library will not institute a visitor time limit.
  • The Indoor Reading Garden downtown will reopen.

The Library requires all patrons to wear masks and practice social distancing.

The Cleveland Public Library Foundation will reopen the Gift Shop located in the Cleveland Public Library – Louis Stokes Wing. The Gift Shop offers unique Cleveland-centric items, literary and library-themed merchandise, and an array of used books and DVDs for sale. Proceeds will benefit programs and services at the Library.

COMING SOON! The Foundation will launch an online gift store with lots of great new Cleveland Public Library merchandise.
