A Cleveland skyline of books is the centerpiece of a limited edition 150th anniversary t-shirt designed by CLE Clothing Company especially for Cleveland Public Library.
“We wanted a signature design that uniquely commemorated our important milestone,” remarked Tana K. Peckham, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for Cleveland Public Library. “The CLE Clothing Co. created the perfect shirt. It honors the Library, our twenty-seven branches, and the city Cleveland Public Library has been so fortunate to serve for the last 150 years.”
CLE Clothing Co. co-founder, Mike Kubinski, considers the design a matter of civic pride. “At CLE Clothing Co., we really do believe in spreading Cleveland pride one shirt at a time. Having an institution like Cleveland Public Library celebrate such a significant anniversary is something our city can take great pride in. We were happy to partner with the Library to create a unique design for them.”
CLE Clothing Co. will sell the Library’s anniversary shirts at the CPL150 Street Festival, the Library’s free, day-long festival on Saturday, July 27 from 1:00 – 10:00 p.m. on Superior Avenue between E. 3rd and E. 6th Streets. The CPL150 Street Festival is the Library’s thank you to the community for 150 years of service. T-shirts can also be purchased for $28 starting July 27th through the holidays at the Library’s gift shop, CLE Clothing Co.’s flagship shop on E. 4th Street, and at cleclothingco.com.
Partial proceeds from the limited edition t-shirt sales benefit the Cleveland Public Library Foundation.
