Lafayette Tolliver graduated from Kent State University in 1971. He was a photographer and columnist for the Daily Kent Stater and the Chestnut Burr. This collection is comprised mainly of Tolliver’s photographs, which document black student life in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
The materials in this collection include writings by Milton Wilson about rehabilitation counseling, information on the Milton Wilson Scholarship Fund, an extensive resume on Wilson, and other items establishing Wilson as an important figure to African Americans and the field of Rehabilitation Counseling. An extensive interview with Wilson on audiocassette tapes details the history of the Rehabilitation Counseling program.
