As Cleveland Public Library approaches its 150th anniversary, the majority of its branches are slated to be revitalized to best serve Cleveland communities well into the future. During one phase of this capital project, ten branch libraries will undergo critical repair work in 2018 to ensure they can continue to function as safe, inclusive, and sustainable environments. The affected branches—Lorain, Glenville, Jefferson, Harvard-Lee, Carnegie West, Addison, Fulton, Langston Hughes, Rockport, and Collinwood—will close temporarily on a rolling basis as repairs are made.

This page offers updates regarding the repair process, branch closure and opening dates, and where patrons can access library services if they are affected by a temporary closure. Fulton Branch Temporarily Closes for Repairs Beginning September 3

Restoration Underway at Historic South Branch

Cleveland Public Library’s South Branch, a historic Carnegie building on Scranton Road, is undergoing an extensive restoration and expansion process. Harvard-Lee Branch Reopens June 14, Community Celebration June 16

Cleveland Public Library is excited to announce that the Harvard-Lee Branch will reopen to library patrons on Thursday, June 14, 2018.
