Grab your friends, your co-workers and family members for a night of dancing, drinking and socializing with fellow library-lovers from around the city.
Black, White & REaD will be a festive evening featuring book signing sessions with prominent homegrown authors Paula McClain, Quartez Harris, Alan Dutka, Abby Vandiver, Thrity Umrigar, and Derf Backderf; interactive exhibits spotlighting our cutting-edge digital literacy programs; a display of rare and valuable items from our collections; a special program by Cleveland comedian Mike Polk Jr. and CPL’s very own chronicler John Skrtic as they give their twisted takes on vintage Cleveland photographs; and of course, delicious food, music by DJ Eric Eubanks and dancing with Kevin Conwell and the Footprints Band.
Mac’s Backs will be onsite selling our featured authors’ books for signing.
Tickets to the Black, White & REaD Celebration include valet parking, heavy hors d’oeuvres, open bar and entertainment.
