thumbnail_shake-exhibit-header

As part of The Wonder of Will, an initiative started by the Folger Shakespeare Library to celebrate 400 years of William Shakespeare, Cleveland Public Library was bestowed the honor of hosting Shakespeare’s First Folio!,  the only host in Ohio and one of only 52 libraries, universities and museums in the country. Published in 1623, this collection of 36 of Shakespeare’s plays includes 18 which had never been published until then, including Macbeth and The Tempest. Through exhibits and displays, the Library continues to honor and celebrate the life and work of one of the world’s best known and most talented writers, now through December 31st.
