About
Aptly named, West Park is the westernmost campus in Cleveland Public Library’s system and serves the West Park and Kamm’s Corners neighborhoods. The newly reimagined building has three meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 41 people. Please contact the branch for more information about reserving the meeting rooms. West Park offers free Wi-Fi and 14 public computers with Internet access. Printing and copying service are available for a fee. Scanning and faxing services are available free of charge. Parking is located at the rear of the building off Silsby Rd.
History & Architecture
Completed in 1928, West Park is one of many Cleveland Public Library branches created by the architecture firm Walker & Weeks. This branch’s architectural style is a modified English Tudor. The branch is constructed of red brick with stone trim with a beautiful slate roof. One of the features of the building was the leaded glass bays. At 14,400 square feet, West Park is one of the largest Cleveland Public Library branches. West Park Campus was renovated in 2021-2022 by Vocon and now has an elevator and spans two accessible floors, with adult materials on the main floor and children and teen spaces in the lower level.
Special Features
- Book lockers for after-hours holds pick ups
- Early literacy playroom in our lower-level with nearby booths to accommodate families
