Reformation Era Documents Discovered

Sixty one German language documents dating from 1529 to 1588 have been discovered by Special Collections staff members. These materials are from the court of German duke Heinrich Der Juenger (1489-1568). The items are being prepared for public research and should be available in the near future. Since provenance on these materials is quite scant, the Library is in contact with experts in Germany from the Brunswick Regional Museum to learn more about the items. Below is a short biography of Heinrich.
