Cleveland Public Library (CPL), in partnership with the Greater Cleveland Film Commission (GCFC), is excited to spend the evening with author Robert Denton Bryant as he discusses writing, video games, Hollywood, and everything in between on Monday, September 28th at 7:00 p.m. in Brett Hall at the Main Library.
“Cleveland Public Library is thrilled to partner with the Greater Cleveland Film Commission to welcome Robert Denton Bryant,” said Felton Thomas, director of CPL. “We look forward to our patrons learning about Bryant’s experiences of pursuing his passion in the fiercely competitive environment of Hollywood.”
Robert Denton Bryant is a co-author of Slay the Dragon: Writing Great Video Games and is experienced in both Hollywood and “Nerdywood.” His book is aimed at both traditional writers who want to learn a more interactive narrative and game creators who want to tell a more emotionally involving story. Robert has worked in marketing and production, as well as developed and published award-winning video games. He has guest lectured on game writing at universities in both the US and in Europe and teaches the Writers Program at UCLA extension as well as the Game Art & Design program at Woodbury University.
