Cleveland Public Library Supports Harvest for Hunger Campaign with Food for Fines Promotion: A Win-Win for Patrons and Community

    3/27/2013 12:20:22 PM

We are proud to support The Cleveland Foodbank’s Harvest for Hunger campaign with the return of the “Food for Fines” promotion that will run from April 15th to April 27th.

We will forgive $1.00 in overdue fines for every non-expired, non-perishable food item on the Cleveland Foodbank’s super six list: peanut butter, cereal, canned soup, canned vegetables, beef stew, and tuna fish.

"Harvest for Hunger is one of the most important campaigns in our community," said Felton Thomas, Director of CPL. "We know that by involving our large community of patrons we can help make this vital campaign a success for the whole community."
