Branch History
The Cleveland Public Library obtained the Villa Angela Academy site in 1991 and renovated the space which now houses the Memorial-Nottingham branch, the Technical Services department of the Library, and the Ohio Library for the Blind & Physically Disabled. Richard Fleischman Architects was selected to plan the reconfiguration this 15,625-square-foot high school building into library facilities. It was the same firm that designed the open space school in 1971.
Memorial-Nottingham Branch is located on Lakeshore Boulevard in the Collinwood neighborhood. The branch's famous neighbors include the Euclid Beach Park and Wildwood Park.
Special Features
The facility houses Technical Services, the Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, off-site book storage, and the Memorial-Nottingham Branch.
