Visit the History and Geography Department and take advantage of the Library’s extensive collection of travel guides to help you plan your adventure. The up-to-date collection includes guides by all of the major publishers and includes lesser-known publications such as Lonely Planet, Michelin, Insiders’ Guide, Moon Handbooks, Access Guides, Rick Steves’, Rough Guides, Off the Beaten Path, Eyewitness Travel, Insight Guides, and many more. The travel collection is located on the sixth floor of the Louis Stokes Wing of the Main Library. If you do not have time to travel to the Library you can request titles through one of the Library’s neighborhood branches, or at any of the CLEVNET member libraries. The guides may also be requested via the online catalog at www.cpl.org, and sent to the pick-up location of your choice, including the drive-up window on Rockwell. Contact the History and Geography Department for more information.
